Multi-Point Inspection
50 points. Honest findings. Written report. Know exactly where your Subaru stands — with no sales pressure attached.
Not a Sales Tool.
An Actual Assessment.
Most shops offer a "free inspection" that's designed to generate service tickets, not inform owners. Every car that goes through finds something billable — because that's the point. Our multi-point inspection is different in one fundamental way: we tell you the truth about your car, and we let you decide what to do with it.
It's included with every oil change at no extra charge, performed by the same ASE Certified technician servicing your car, and delivered as a written report — not a verbal upsell at the counter. If your Subaru is in great shape, we tell you that. If something genuinely needs attention, we tell you that too, with honest urgency and no manufactured pressure.
- Complimentary with every oil change — no separate charge
- 50-point assessment covering brakes, tires, fluids, belts, suspension, and electrical
- Performed by your ASE Certified technician, not a courtesy check by someone else
- Written report with findings prioritized by urgency
- Zero pressure — findings are information, not a sales pitch
- Available standalone for pre-purchase evaluations
What We Check
Every inspection covers these systems — with notes on condition, wear level, and recommended action for each finding.
Brakes
Front and rear pad thickness, rotor condition and thickness, caliper operation, brake line integrity, and fluid level. We note remaining pad life and flag any uneven wear that points to a caliper, alignment, or hardware issue.
Tires & Wheels
Tread depth at all four corners, inflation pressure, sidewall condition, and wheel inspection for damage or corrosion. We check for uneven wear patterns — a common indicator of alignment or suspension problems before they cause tire failure.
Fluids
Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, differential fluid levels and condition, and windshield washer fluid. We top off washer fluid as a courtesy and note any fluids that are due for service or showing contamination.
Belts & Hoses
Accessory drive belts for cracking, glazing, and proper tension. Coolant hoses for hardness, cracks, and clamp security. Timing belt condition and interval status on EJ-series engines — one of the most critical checks specific to older Subarus.
Suspension & Steering
Struts and shocks for leaks and damping, tie rod ends, sway bar links and end links, ball joints, and steering rack condition. Subaru struts are a common wear item — we check for the subtle signs of failure that owners often miss until the handling suffers noticeably.
Lighting & Electrical
All exterior lighting, battery condition and terminal corrosion, and accessible wiring. We note any active warning lights and what they indicate. If a check engine or ABS light is on, we can read the codes and give you a clear explanation of what the car is telling you.
We Tell You What We Find.
Not What We Can Bill.
Subaru Specialists, Not Generalists
Our inspection is performed by the same ASE Certified Master Technician working on your car. They know the specific failure modes of EJ and FA-series engines, the common wear patterns on each body style, and the subtle signs that something is trending toward failure — things a generalist shop is likely to overlook.
Straight Answers, No Pressure
If your car is fine, we tell you it's fine — and we mean it. If something is worn, we tell you what it is, what it costs to address, and whether it's urgent now or something to watch over the next service interval. You leave with useful information, not anxiety engineered to drive a sale.
Written Report, Every Time
You get a documented inspection report to keep in your records — not just a verbal summary at the counter that's easy to forget or misremember. Use it to track changes over time, compare against future inspections, or reference it when deciding whether and when to address what we found.

Inspection FAQ
Is the multi-point inspection really free?
Yes — it's included with every oil change at no separate charge. For standalone inspections (pre-purchase checks, peace-of-mind assessments, used-car evaluations), we charge a modest fee that is credited in full toward any repair work you authorize with us. Call or message us for current pricing on standalone services.
Can I bring in a used Subaru for a pre-purchase inspection?
Yes, and we strongly recommend it on any used Subaru before you buy. We've saved customers from expensive purchases — hidden head gasket issues, neglected timing belts, worn AWD components — more times than we can count. Bring the car in before you sign anything. If the seller won't agree to an independent inspection, that tells you something important too.
If you find something, will you pressure me into getting it fixed?
No. We give you the finding, the context, and our honest read on urgency — and then it's your call. Some things are safety-critical and we'll be direct about that. Others are items to keep an eye on over the next few visits. We've built our business on long-term relationships with Subaru owners, not on extracting maximum revenue from a single visit.
How long does the inspection take?
When performed alongside an oil change, the inspection happens while your car is already on the lift and adds minimal time to your visit. As a standalone service, a thorough 50-point inspection takes 45–60 minutes. Your written report will be ready when you pick up the car.
What if my check engine light is on — does the inspection cover that?
The multi-point inspection notes active warning lights and what they indicate. For a thorough diagnostic scan and fault code interpretation, we offer a dedicated diagnostics service — we pull codes with dealer-level equipment, explain exactly what the car is reporting, and recommend next steps without the guesswork. See our Diagnostics page for more detail.
